Saw a program that did a test on water on the appearance of skin. Apparently it didn't make a difference on the appearance of the skin if you drank water or not.

Have heard that it can affect blood pressure. If you're de hydrated, your blood thickens, so your BP goes up!! (That could well be my problem as I very rarely drink straight water, it HAS to have something in it. Albeit a teabag, hops or whatever!!)

Nah, the only thing good for kidneys is frying it up with a bit of steak and putting it in a pie, YUMMMY! :lol

Joking aside it was on the news the other day that it has been proved 8 pints of water a day does absolutely nothing for the body.
We get all the water the body needs to rehydrate from the foods we eat.

Why? Apart from going to the loo all the time for a wee, it does nothing.
When food is eaten it gets broken down into molecules and transported around the body where they are needed. I learnt that one in physiology............see I do listen sometimes Laughing Laughing
The only time we need extra fluids is when we are doing exercises and sweating or if the weather is hot.

Osmoregulation is a struggle for all organisms as we continually adjust our cellular water balance for optimal conditions. In your body, the large intestine reabsorbs water by osmosis to help maintain the proper water concentration, which helps to keep your systems from dehydrating.

CONVINCED YET? Laughing Laughing
