i was told that everytime you switch yr pc off then bk on again yr ip addy changes is that true ???????????

it can actually be true, it ONLY depends on your own ISP.

Some ISP's offer a static IP address, others offer dynamic (changes every connection)

So dependant on your ISP, then yes it can be true
