Be very careful using third party registry cleaners, they have been known to kill computer files.

The so-called best in the market is

Best thing to do is regular spyware checks (once a week) keep your AV up to date..

One of the worst things you can do..believe it or not is run a system defrag to often, this can actually physically harm your HDD, (that advice comes from someone who built computers for a living)

ccleaner is that a free one or do you have to buy it

if so what is the best free one available

Ive got Norton and Spybot, can I also add CC cleaner or is there a limit of units you can use.

Yes be careful not to run registry cleaner too often you can overclean a registry, cc cleaner is great, use window washer myself but not very often

Get rid of norton, its hogging the computer memory, windows washer is almost as bad as some of the others for getting rid of needed files

alternatively you can get a program called...Disk Keeper Pro.. This is amazing, i have yet to defrag my harddrive since i installed it and it automatically sets your pagefile to match the volume. the great thing about the program is that you can either load it and do a defrag or when a fragment occurs a small program zooms in and sorts it in the blink of an eye... so it works when needed...
