Hi,anyone here on the forum go to holyhead school between 1964-1966,when Mr Lovatt was headmaster mr & mrs Bacon also When we had cookery lessons do they have those now i wonder.Went to school by train from rhosneigr

Hello Cefni thanks for joining. Yes, I remember Mr Lovatt and Mr & Mrs Bacon (music lessons) Not to sure about the cookery lessons?

Hi steve.com,i see many changes have been done to the old school especially the prefarbs all gone now i see what adifferent place the only building that ws left was the lower schoolthat lovely red brick frontage is it still there? Wego home every 18 minths now live down brighton waydo you live in holyhead?Gosh that place has changed as well remember walikg up pollicoff hill from the station wet thrugh after rain then getting soaked again at home time oh dear now i feel 10 yrs older than i am !!!!memories ..

hi yes i remember mr and mrs bacon as she would not let me play the trumpet only the violin mr bacon taught maths if i remember. yes it has all changed dont like the modern buildings though some in place before i left school in 1967. visit every so often. great site especally the old photos. makes me home sick..

I was there long before that. I was only there for two years but Mt Lovatt was there the year I left 1957.
The question I have is, when did he retire?

Dewi Lloyd was headmaster in the mid 60's to mid 70's as my Brother was always having run-ins with him, but not sure when Mr Lovatt retired.
I know Mr Lloyd retired in late 70's.
