I would not recommend free software, and as the latest version of bit defender costs around £25 with 3 free licence distributions you can give a download link to a couple of your freinds and they can benefit aswell.
AVG free is the best free anti-virus software you can get and if you search for All-In-One-DVD through a torrent search you may be able to find the pro version in the bundle of software.
You will need a bit torrent to do this, this is illegal of course and should not be recommended. _________________ AMD Phenom 9850 Quad Core Processor AM2+,

Good morning
If the computer operating system and harddrive are not in pristine condition or as close as then the computer will be slow.
Here is a guide to speeding up a pc.
You will need the following software, if purchased will give you guarantees and free updates.
Load control panel and load system
on system panel, click on Advanced, now click on settings under the performance tab, select performance, click on apply and close the window.
1) Registry Mechanic

2) DiskKeeper

3) Spybot Search & Destroy

Once you have all this software installed, switch off your internet connection so you dont have any incoming traffic.
Go to your control panel, click on Add/Remove programs, have a look down the list and delete what you no longer use, if its been there for a very long time and it doest get used, the chances are you will have outgrown it, like an old pair of shoes throw it away.
Run Spybot Search & Destroy - make a cup of tea it may take a while to go through your computer dependant on how much software you have installed. Once completed immunize using that feature of the program. Close the program!
Now run registry mechanic, before clicking on scan click on settings, then click on custom scan and make sure the boxes are all ticked, first time users will find a few boxes at the bottom un-ticked, make sure they are all filled in. Now goto to scanning paths on the same list, make sure your entire computer is selected, you can miss out the CD/DVD drives. Now save those options, now you can click on Scan Your Registry.
Allow it to finish and click on repair all errors, Close the program!
your nearly finished, load diskkeeper, highlight Drive C:\ and click on defrag. you will notice that next to the free space on that drive, automatic defragmentation is enabled. Allow this program to completely defrag your harddrive, when completed Close the program!, even though it is closed it will continue to defrag the harddrive as it needs to.
Goto start / programs - right click on startup and select open. How many programs do you have in this folder, if you have a dozen or so then your computer is going spend its entire life working, empty the startup folder - one piece of advice that is most valuable - only load what you want to use then when you have finished close it down.
now shutdown your computer
re-connect your internet
startup your computer and see the difference _________________ AMD Phenom 9850 Quad Core Processor AM2+,
