Dear Ann
I am doing family research and have been for many years. My Gt.Gt. Grandfather lived in Rhos-y-Bol and worked down the Copper Mine.
I recently found out that my fathers second cousin Evan R Pritchard was on the Scotia which was sunk at Dunkirk. Imagine my delight to find your memorial to the brave men who gave their lives for others and also a picture of Evan R Pritchard. It is hard to imagine what these brave men went through. I am so proud to have the same blood running through my veins but I am sure I wouldn't be as courageous.
Thank you for your lovely site, I am sure I will visit it often.
Kind regards....
Barbara (Smith)
