In September 2007 a few people from the Security Team at Holyhead Port took part in running the Anglesey Marathon. All monies raised were in Memory of Jade Manning from Holyhead. They raised £1000 and it was Karen Mannings wishes for it to be donated to the Ronald McDonald House for a plaque to be put on the tree of life with Jade Mannings details.

May i just say a BIG Thank You to those who did this run, and Karen and Family would like to thank all persons who sponsered.

that is fantastic,well done to all involved,so sad about jade,so young and a lovely girl,i know karen well went to school together,my heart goes out to her it really does

Thank You All for your kind words, All monies have only just finished being collected, And the total sum was sent off to Alder Hey Hospital last week. Karen will recieve a duplicate plaque as a memory.

A Big Thank You also to Securitas Security Services who also donated £200 towards this mission.

And for the runners, it was a grulling day for them, but with the determination of raising £1000 for the plaque, they kept this thought in mind and completed the Marathon. Well Done. x
