My computer is a bit on the old side. Last week i copied a 30 min video onto it but could not burn it to disc as i didn't have enough space to open the burning programme.
Can any one tell me if putting a extra external hard drive, for video transfer purposes would do the trick? I have about fifty vids to do, so it would be too expensive to have them commercially transferred.

Also, if copying home vids, the sound goes out of synch a bit and i have to copy in short batches which is a pain. Any ideas?
Going to get a new comp next year but was hpoing for a short term solution.

You could get an external drive, and copy all your personal documents/pictures and everything onto that, its not ideal to have programs on them though, just for storage mainly, so yeah, copy all your stuff onto something like this

Which is a mini external, or a full size external

As for the lip synch problem, what is the source format and what format are you saving it as?

hi victor... try using a program called "winavi", you can convert your video files to dvd format and burn them using nero. You wont loose any quality and the sound will remain in sync.

They seem quite cheap.
