THIS IS FOR THE EXPATS OF HOLYHEAD. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO ADD A MASSAGE HERE THEN PLEASE DO SO
I recently received this message in an Email:
Hello
I have had the pleasure of looking at the Holyhead.com site. Ah yes i remember it well 1963, i arrived in Holyhead from London, very strange from London was Holyhead, but you know what i had never had a bad word or anything said against me while i lived in Holyhead, my friends were, well true friends in every sense of the word ( and still are) and at the time i had more girl friends than i can ever remember than everywhere else i have lived, some of my family still live in Holyhead and i visit about once a year and things have changed, not as quiet as Holyhead in the 60s but now still Holyhead just the same, i/we used to live at 3 Black bridge from about 1965 onwards then i went into the Army in 1969 and moved about the country a lot, even though a native of London, i class Holyhead as my home all thanks to a great deal of true Holyheadians, Thank you old friends.

I was born in Holyhead - many moons ago
My name is Kath (nee Riddell) and I used to live on Vulcan Street. I still have family that live in Holyhead. Some in the Queens Park area.
We moved to Manchester in the 60's and I used to come home every year. That has tailed off a bit since my Mam and Dad passed away and also I lost my sister a couple of years ago too. She used to live in the Kingsland area. My dad used to work for Chadwicks on the newspapers.
It was lovely stumbling across this site. It has brought back many memories and it's also nice to know whats happening there now.
