Any members of The Nite Hawks still living in Holyhead, I wonder?
They were the premier band around 1955/1956 and played in the '79' on a regular basis. |

Regrettably, I do not recall the names of the band members but I do remember their playing for the Holyhead Summer Football League Dances in the 79.
At that time, of course, rock & roll was all the rage and we filled the room downstairs. Ah! The good old days when fights were a rareity outside the venue and the atmosphere was good.
Naples, Florida! I remeber driving through some years ago and on to Sanibel Island where I met up with my first crocodile. Only some 5 feet long, in a ditch and very much alive.
Anyhow, I digress. Is there anyone who can 'fill in the gaps' please. |

Spoken to someone from the Night Hawks era and the following names have been given to me
Tudor Jones
Tony Langhorn
Ken Smith
She cant recall any other/s
Tudor and Tony formed 'The Leauge of Gentlemen' after the N/H split
I know they were still going strong 10 years ago as I booked them for a b/day party.
Tony lived in Bangor and had worked for the tax office, last time I spoke to him I am sure he said he had retired and had or was taking over a pub.
Ken to my knowlege still lives in H'Head, near the Prince of Wales.
Dont know where Tudor lives now. |

Well, thank you all. I hope Tudor or any of the others still about will append their contribution, if they, like me, have found the site! |

I saw Tony about two years ago, he came into my works for a look araound. He's running a pub in Bangor, but don't know which one.
Ken's Son, Spike (not sure real name) was, last I heard, doing ok for himself as a drummer touring with some big groups. Last I saw him, he'd just come back from a tour of the States. |
